Fire of '84!
What flow in our veins!? It's the wrath in remembrance of 1984,
Even our sleep walks us down through the memories of genocide,
where our people, Oh NO!!!!!!!!!!!
Where, Dear India, Your citizens were mass murdered,
the Sikh genocide was entitled to riots,
Where are our brothers??? why were they imprisoned without any crimes?
Who raped our sisters, who were the ones who saw it and kept mum?
Who killed the children, who burnt our fathers with flaming tires?
Why was your operation launched on 'Gurupurab'
Why weren't civilians saved by your army?
150 vs millions was the scenario there,
it was when Guru Gobind Singh's words,
"It is when I make fight one with one hundred thousand,
that will be the moment call me Guru Gobind." that came into life then,
Great martyrs of '84 fought for their rights,
the great souls who sacrificed their lives to protect their Guru's chamber.
Who led the army walked into our Darbar sahib with shoes, who encouraged the ones smoking cigarettes in our house of worship,
who fired bullets on our Granth sahib,
who bombarded our Akal Takht.................,
To the one's agreeing over the clarification that it was done to maintain peace,
Answer me what the model of Darbar sahib doing in 1982 in Dehradun,
Have you defenders ever read The Anandpur Resolution?
Don't say it wasn't planned, don't name it as riots,
It was a pre-planned mass murder, called THE SIKH GENOCIDE.
Oh, Delhi, that level of fright you had,
Did you remember they were your citizens you were bombarding,
What action did you take against the one broadcasting "Khoon ka badla, Khoon se!"?
Do you not remember supporting such anti-Sikhs saying?
Why don't you recall the turbans being targeted?
Why, why, and why, I'll keep on asking?
But Not-so-dear Delhi, you won't have any response.
Hands of politicians tainted with blood,
The pain and fire our hearts hold will never shut,
Thinking about the Sikh Genocide, I remember Jallianwala bagh,
how would have you felt, If General Dyer was rewarded after his heinous crime,
Ever thought about what pain did the mothers of Punjab bore,
seeing the murderers of their sons, the rapists of their daughters being rewarded with legislative powers,
I remember the sacrifice of Sardar Bhagat Singh, I think back about Sardar Udham Singh,
I can feel them thinking,
"Who sowed the seeds of hatred, we didn't shed our blood for this,
Delhi acted like a snake sleeve and didn't even hiss."
I don't see our free media covering the story of BAPU SURAT SINGH,
a firm soul on hunger strike since 2015,
for just one cause 'To free Sikh prisoners',
I saw no one highlighting the story that the lane of 'WIDOW'S COLONY, DELHI' whispers in our ears,
38 years is not a small time,
So, here I quote,
"JUSTICE DELAYED, IS JUSTICE DENIED."
Remember,
From Guru we are, To him we are accountable,
Through his command we live, and so shall we depart.
So, when it comes down to Our life or Our Guru we shall strive back hard,
Everything is forgivable, but not is this,
WE CAN NEVER FORGET THE SUFFERINGS OF 1984,
WE BOW TO THE MARTYRS OF THE BATTLE OF AMRITSAR, AND KUDOS TO THEIR VIGOUR.
